Talks – Aquaponics Systems – 20th July 2010

Chris is a Rotarian/Humanitarian from Roxby in South Australia visiting Singapore to give lectures to Rotary Clubs about the benefits of Home/Kitchen Aquaponics Systems and help them develop suitable community Aquaponics projects.
The Singapore Government has been trying to get Singaporeans to grow some of their own food for years and in land scarce Singapore, Aquaponics provides a path without the need for land.

He has designed a few such a systems and worked with Rotarians in Thailand, Sri Lanka on Aquaponics projects which is a symbiotic relationship between fish and plants and recycling the same water between them. He will update us on the latest developments of some of these projects.
